Outdoor LED screens are the centrepiece of most large-scale activations in Saudi Arabia — but specifying the wrong panel costs you in brightness, clarity, or reliability on show day.
Start with brightness. Outdoor panels are rated in nits; for direct sunlight you typically need 5,000 nits or more. Indoor fine-pitch panels trade brightness for resolution — a 2.6 mm pitch looks crisp at close viewing distances, while outdoor events viewed from further away can use 3.9 mm or larger.
Weatherproofing matters in the Gulf. IP65-rated cabinets handle dust and rain; ensure your supplier includes proper rigging points and wind-load calculations for elevated installs.
